Hi Everyone! I voted in the side-bar this week. And just want to say that I liked Alyce's Tree BEST from last week. If I would have been on top of it, there may have been a three way tie!
PhotoA; I like the composition a lot but if you look closely, the rocks in the foreground that should be in clear focus are not, the mid ground (those great looking tree stumps) are in clear focus and the background, the mountain, is in some state halfway between. I would like this photo better if the rocks and tree stump they are sitting on were sharp and clear and the mid and background were blurred, its called bokeh. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokeh
Photo B: Beautiful color. Great idea with the three seperate photos but I think there are focus issues here too. This pic needs a shaper flower and a more blurred background. Some of it is blurred but some isn't. Maybe a different crop would help. Sure stands out though.
Photo C: I'm voting on the right for this one. Good subject and in this shot everything is in focus and should be. Really good color and whatever you did in post worked. I think this was done with a smart phone and while yes thats cool, you could do even better with a real camera.
Photo D: I really like the subject whatever those crazy plants are. Really great photo but the background is a distraction. Needs to be blurred or cropped out. Sorry dear.
Photo E: Looks like some last minute entry from someone who had too busy a weekend. Three splashes? seriously? Not even the best splash photo.
